Graduate Student Research Assistant, University of Michigan
Catherine is a Graduate Student Research Assistant for GLISA at the University of Michigan. In this role, she supports GLISA’s social science research and engagement with Great Lakes cities. She is pursuing dual master’s degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Environmental Policy at the University of Michigan.
Prior to joining GLISA in September 2019, Catherine was a Special Projects Assistant in the Mayor’s Office at the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska. There, she helped facilitate the planning process for Anchorage’s first climate action and adaptation plan. She holds a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
