About

 Mission

GLISA is one of 12 NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnerships (CAP, formerly RISA) teams that focus on helping the nation prepare for and adapt to climate variability and change.

What We Do

GLISA works at the boundary between climate science and decision-makers, striving to enhance Great Lakes communities’ capacity to understand, plan for, and respond to climate impacts now and in the future.

Our Team

GLISA’s team of social and physical scientists is composed of faculty, staff, researchers, and students at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and the University of Wisconsin.
