Summary Climate Information
GLISA has developed and maintains a number of documents and webpages summarizing information about climate change in the Great Lakes region.
Great Lakes Climatologies
GLISA developed summaries of climate information for select sites (stations), multi-county areas (climate divisions), and each Great Lake across the region. Each summary includes an overview of the climate along with relevant data and graphs.
Climate Impacts
GLISA has summarized recent research and available data on the impacts of climate change in the Great Lakes region.
Tools for City Adaptation
To help cities that are new to climate adaptation, GLISA has compiled a list of recommended resources and tools from GLISA and other partners. Explore examples of how partners have used these resources in the past.
Great Lakes Adaptation Data Suite (GLADS)
The GLADS provides credible climate data from several public data sources to address the need for standardized historical and projected climate information for adaptation and resilience.
Climate Scenarios
GLISA partnered with Great Lakes city adaptation practitioners to produce a set of plausible climate scenarios to aid in city and local planning.
Practitioner Guides
GLISA develops guidance with and for practitioners in the region to increase the usability of climate information needed in adaptation planning.
Tool Guidance
Tool guidance documents and tutorial videos intended to help other users in the Great Lakes region better understand the tools and their potential applications.
