GLISA FEATURED IN SUNDAY SERIES AT KALAMAZOO VALLEY MUSEUM
On March 25th, GLISA Climatologist Laura Briley presented on regional climate change at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her talk, entitled “Climate Change, Impacts, and Adaptation in the Great Lakes Region,” introduced the audience to the science behind climate and climate change, and provided an overview of current trends and impacts. Briley also used current GLISA projects as examples to illustrate how climate information is integrated into adaptation planning across the region. The talk was part of the museum’s bi-monthly “Sunday Series,” which offers science and history programs to the public for free.
