Overview:
Once a booming manufacturing town, Fort Wayne is the second-largest city in the state of Indiana located at the junction of St. Marys, St. Joseph, and Maumee Rivers in northeastern Indiana.

Temperatures reach their peak in this region in July, while they reach their lowest in January. Summertime temperatures tend to be milder, while wintertime temperatures tend to be a bit more frigid. Extreme precipitation events over 1.25″ are infrequent, occurring less than a week per year. This region tends to see most of its annual precipitation, about 30%, in the summer months with peaks happening between May and July, and the rest of the year’s precipitation is spread out somewhat evenly across the remaining seasons.
