Overview:
Iron Mountain and Kingsford are towns in Dickinson County in Michigan’s upper peninsula near the Wisconsin border. Kingsford borders the Menominee River and Iron Mountain borders Lake Antoine. These two towns share an airport called the Ford Airport.

Temperatures rarely exceed 90°F in the area but Iron Mountain and Kingsford experience 175 days below freezing on average in a year.
