Jennifer K. Gauthier is the Director of the Sustainable Development Institute at the College of Menominee Nation and a Co-Principal Investigator for GLISA. In this role, she is leading a team that is engaged with research, education, and outreach at both the local and national levels. The Institute uses the Menominee Theoretical Model of Sustainability to inform climate change, food sovereignty, energy sovereignty, and building relationships between Indigenous communities. Jennifer is an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, a Menominee language learner, and works throughout the community to integrate Menominee’s ways of knowing into projects and planning.
